KCET 2022 Exam Day Instructions, Guidelines and SOPs

It is imperative for the candidates appearing in this year’s KCET examination to find out the exam day instructions and other details such as what documents they must carry to their respective KCET 2022 exam centres and important guidelines due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The important exam day instructions of KCET 2022 and other details will be mentioned on the KCET 2022 hall tickets as well. 

Along with the KCET 2022 exam day instructions, a list of documents and important candidate instructions, the candidates will find out all the important OMR instructions too. 

KCET 2022 Admit card

The KCET Admit Card 2022 was released on June 2, 2022. KCET is a state-level entrance test for applicants interested in pursuing a career in engineering. Candidates take this test to get admission to Karnataka's colleges and universities. The KCET hall ticket 2022 contains information such as the exam day and time, the address of the KEA Karnataka CET exam centre, the applicants' fundamental information such as name, signature, photograph, the paper for which they are appearing, and exam day instructions. Students should be aware that they will not be permitted to sit for the test unless they have obtained a KCET 2022 admit card, which they must get prior to the exam date. The KCET 2022 exam will be held in several places throughout India and will be pen and paper based.

Things to Carry to KCET 2022 Exam Centres

The candidates appearing in this year’s KCET examination must know that they can carry only the following documents along with them to their respective KCET exam centres - 

1. KCET 2022 hall ticket

2. A valid photo identity proof

3. Class 12 admission ticket

4. College identity card

The candidates must know that the aforementioned documents they must carry along with their hall tickets to their respective exam centres on the given day. 

KCET 2022 OMR Instructions

The following instructions are for the candidates appearing for this year’s KCET examination and the OMR sheet which will be provided to them in which they can submit their responses - 

  • The candidates will find out the specimen of the KCET OMR answer sheet on the official website of KEA -

  • The candidates must download multiple copies of the sample OMR sheet from the official site and practice answering the questions in them to acclimatize themselves with the process

  • The candidates must only use blue/black ballpoint pens to record their responses in the OMR sheet

  • The candidates must ensure that the OMR sheet has two parts before beginning to submit their responses

  • The second part of the OMR sheet or the lower part will be returned to the candidates after each session whereas the first sheet will be sent for evaluation

  • The candidates will be given the initial 10 minutes to fill up the particulars like name, serial number of the question paper, version code and CET number

  • The candidates must know that for each question, only one of the given four options will be correct 

KCET 2022 Important Exam Day Instructions

The candidates must also be aware of all the important KCET 2022 exam day instructions as per the official brochure listed below - 

1. The candidates must ensure they reach their respective KCET 2022 exam centres 1 hour before the commencement time of the exam

2. The candidates must not forget to carry a valid photo identity proof along with them to their respective exam centres in addition to their hall tickets

3. The candidates will be handed over the “Attendance Sheet” which they must sign in the presence of their respective exam invigilators

4. Candidates must only occupy those seats that have their CET numbers mentioned on them

5. The exam hall invigilators will not entertain any kind of ruckus or disturbance created by the candidates

6. The candidates cannot any type of electronic devices like cell phones, electronic watches, calculators etc with them to their respective exam halls

7. The candidates must also ensure they do not carry any written pieces with them to their respective exam halls

8. The candidates will not be allowed to go outside their exam halls during the exam time slot

9. Candidates found not abiding by all the regulations and instructions mentioned above will be disqualified by the officials
