NDA Exam Date 2026

The NDA 1 Exam Date 2026 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in an official notification on January 9, 2026. According to the official notice, the National Defence Academy exam for the year 2026 has been scheduled to be conducted by the UPSC on April 12, 2026 , for providing admission to National Defence Academy (NDA) and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The NDA 2 exam will be held on September 13, 2026 . The NDA written exam is conducted twice a year in the Pen & Paper Based Mode (offline). The exam will have two sections: Mathematics & General Ability Test.

NDA Written Exam Shift Timings

Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be conducted in the offline or pen-and-paper based test mode on a single day. They will be segregated into two sessions.

3. Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates
4. Age Limit
  • For NDA 1, you should be born on or between July 1, 2007, and July 1, 2010.
  • For NDA 2), you should be born between January 2, 2008, and July 1, 2011.
5. Qualification
  • For Army Wing (NDA), passing in 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized board is mandatory.
  • For Air Force & Naval Wings (NDA & NA), you must have qualified 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized state or national board with subjects such as Chemistry, Physics,and Mathematics.
  • You can still apply if you are appearing in the qualifying exam.
