MP Class 10 Social Science Question Paper Pattern 2026

The theory question paper will be conducted for 75 marks. It will consist of different types of questions, including very objective-type questions, short answer-type questions, map-based questions, etc. You can check out the detailed question paper pattern from the pointers given below:

  • Questions numbered 1 to 5 will consist of 30 objective-type questions. Each question will carry 1 mark.
  • Question Type 1 will be Multiple Choice Questions, carrying 6 marks in total.
  • Question Type 2 will be Fill in the Blanks, carrying 6 marks in total.
  • Question Type 3 will be True or False, carrying 6 marks in total.
  • Question Type 4 will be Matching the Correct Pairs, carrying 6 marks in total.
  • Question Type 5 will require answers in one sentence, carrying 6 marks in total.
  • Questions numbered 6 to 17 will consist of 12 questions, and each question will carry 2 marks.
  • Questions numbered 18 to 20 will consist of 3 questions, and each question will carry 3 marks.
  • Questions numbered 21 to 23 will consist of 3 questions, and each question will carry 4 marks.
  • Question number 23 will be a map-based question from the Geography section of India, specifically from Book 2, Chapter 5 – Minerals and Energy Resources, and it will carry 4 marks.
  • For visually impaired students, instead of Question number 23, one additional descriptive question will be provided. This question will include four sub-questions, each carrying 1 mark, and the answers will be required in one word or one sentence.
