Odisha SAMS +2 Admission 2020 - The registration process for Odisha SAMS +2 admission got over on September 11, 2020. The merit list for 10+2 admission has been released on the official website of SAMS on 18th September 2020. Candidates who have successfully registered themselves can click on the link given below to access the merit list. The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (OBSE) is the secondary education board in Odisha, which was established in 1953 according to the ‘Odisha Education Act’ with the aim of conducting secondary level education in the state. The board is also known as the State Board of Odisha. OBSE conducts +2 admissions every year in Science, Arts and Commerce streams depending on the results of class 10th. As the results of board exams have been announced, the admission process has also commenced.

The online application process or registration for Odisha +2 admissions has started. The first merit list for Odisha+2 admissions has been released on September 18, 2020. To check the cutoff for admissions in +2 courses in different schools of Odisha Board of Secondary Education (OBSE) one has to first open the homepage of SAMS portal. From there, the students have to select the District where the school is located. After selecting the district from the drop-down menu, the candidate has to select the school’s name from another drop-down menu placed just beside the districts menu. After selecting the school/institution’s name, the student has to click on ‘Individual HSS Profile.’ After that, a popup will be opened. The candidate has to make sure that no pop-up blocker is installed. In the popup window, the cutoff marks for each stream of the selected school will be notified. Students who have passed high school (10th level) are eligible to apply for Odisha +2 admissions.

Odisha 10th Board Results Pass Percentage 2019
The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (OBSE) has reported a pass percentage of 70.78% in 2019 for class 10th boards. The pass percentage of Odisha 10th board results has reduced drastically as compared to the pass percentage of the previous year. The pass percentage of Odisha Board Class 10 results in 2018 was 76.23% but what is of concern is that the pass percentages of 2017 were 85.28%. So, it is clear that the pass percentage has dropped since then.
