Is 700 a Good Score in CUET 2026 for DU North Campus?

Overall, 700 marks is a very good score indeed. But iIf you are competing for a seat in one of the popular undergraduate programs, such as B.Com (Hons), BA/ B.Sc Economics (Hons), or BA Political Science (Hons), then it may not be enough to get you admission into any of the North Campus (Main) colleges under Delhi University, especially under the General category.

Looking at the past 2025 records, the minimum requirement for DU North colleges is 99th percentile, which translated to 760+ scores in 2025. 700 marks puts you in the 95-97th percentile range, which is excellent for colleges located in the Southern hub of Delhi University or other off-campus colleges, but not for the top 3 North Campuses.

Still not sure how to shortlist colleges with your CUET 2026 scores? Here’s a quick tip: If you have secured high marks that are enough for mid-range colleges but insufficient for top institutes, then start by selecting the top college as your first priority during choice filling. Why? Because CUET admission is done in multiple stages. Even if you miss out on a top seat in the initial rounds, there are high chances of you getting a seat in the later stages. So, it is better to aim for a higher seat in the top college right from the beginning.
