CMC Vellore Admission 2024

CMC Vellore admission process 2024 has started on the official website of the college. Interested candidates can apply through the official website. To apply for the available courses, candidates must register for their chosen course at the college website and meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. After that, candidates must meet the cutoff released by the CMC Vellore for admission to the courses. Then, after getting shortlisted by the college, candidates must pay the initial course fee to ensure their seat in the college. There is no entrance exam which is administered by the college to provide admission. However, candidates have to appear in some of the national-level entrance exams that are accepted by the college such as NEET UG (MBBS), NEET PG (MS, MD) and NEET SS (M.Ch and DM). 

There are various scholarships provided to the candidates who take admission to the Christian Medical College Vellore such as merit-based scholarships, category-based scholarships, Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme for RPF/RPSF, PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child, Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students and more. All in all, there are a total of 17 degrees offered by the college in different specialisations. The application process is carried out in online mode.

CMC Vellore Admission for Medical Courses

CMC Vellore admission to the medical courses is carried out on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the last qualifying exam as well as performance in the accepted entrance exams. Candidates must have passed class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks to get admission to the MBBS course and qualified in NEET UG. For admission to MS & MD courses, candidates must have an MBBS degree from a recognised university and also qualified in NEET PG. Interested candidates must have a PG degree in surgery or medicine to get admission to M.Ch and DM courses.
