IIM Nagpur offers PGP (Post Graduate Programme) in Management. The admission process for IIM Nagpur PGP course begins after the announcement of CAT results. The candidates will have to fill an online application form for PGP course through the official website of IIM Nagpur. A valid CAT score is mandatory to submit the online application for IIM Nagpur PGP course. IIM Nagpur offers 120 seats in PGP course. The premier institute has the right to revise the seat matrix for PGP course before the commencement of the admission process. IIM Nagpur considers several aspects for granting PGP admission to eligible candidates. The selection process of IIM Nagpur for PGP course involves different stages, and the candidates must clear all the stages to secure admission.
To get admission into PGPM at IIM Nagpur, candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree, with at least 50% marks or CGPA (45% in case of candidates from SC/ ST/ and PWD category).

The second stage of the selection process to the PGP in Management offered at IIM Nagpur is the calculation of the Past Academic Performance. The PAP consists of the academic performance of the candidate along with his/her work experience and the diversity of the candidate. IIM Nagpur will calculate the Past Academic Performance using the following equation:
PAP = (0.25xA + 0.35xB + 0.40xC)
Candidates will be shortlisted further based on the results that are displayed after the calculation of the Past Academic Performance.

The Indian Institute of Management will be calculating a Comprehensive Score based on the CAT score along with the PAP and Diversity Score. Here is the equation for the Comprehensive Score (CS).
CS = [0.35 x (CAT Score/Maximum CAT Total Score x 10)] + [0.35 x (PAP Score)] + [0.2 x (WE Score)] + [0.1*(Di Score)]
Where the Maximum CAT Total Score is the max score obtained among all candidates who were shortlisted for the stage-2 of the selection process.
Candidates will further be shortlisted for the 3rd stage of the selection process based on the Comprehensive score that will come out after using the equation mentioned above for individual candidates. Candidates who get shortlisted through the 2nd stage of the IIM Nagpur PGP selection process will be called for the 3rd stage of the selection process.
Further, shortlisted candidates will receive an email directing them to provide the institute with an application stating the academic details and necessary documents such as the year-wise or semester-wise mark sheet of the undergraduate programme, along with other mark sheets, certificate of work experience, disability certificate, documents proving your eligibility for the reservation quota, if applicable.
Once the candidates have submitted the application with the necessary information and documents after being shortlisted through the Comprehensive Score, candidates will need to appear for the Written Ability Test and the Personal Interview.
The Indian Institute of Management Nagpur will be conducting the Written Ability Test (WAT) and the Personal Interview (PI). All candidates who have been shortlisted through the second stage of the selection process will need to appear for WAT and PI.
The Final Score will be calculated using the following equation, as mentioned by the institute.
Final Score (FS)= 0.35 x (PI Score) + 0.05 x (WAT Score) + 0.20 x (CAT Score) + 0.20 x (PAP Score) + 0.20 x (WE Score).
Once the final score has been calculated, candidates will be selected and shortlisted for admissions. All admissions will be based on the Final Score of the individual candidate. IIM Nagpur will be calculating the scores differently for the candidates belonging to the reservation categories. Candidates who wish to accept the admission offer will need to pay an acceptance fee of ₹50,000, which will further be adjusted to the 1st Term Fee.
