IIM Udaipur Selection Process:

With the Common Admission Test (CAT 2017) successfully conducted, the Indian Institutes of Management across the country will soon start the selection procedure for admission to their PGP programme. Amongst these is the newly established IIM Udaipur. Despite being one of the newest IIMs, IIM Udaipur is one of the top MBA colleges in West India and follows a stringent selection process much like the other institutes in its leagues.

The institute has released the selection criteria for the PGP batch 2018-20 and all admissions will be done primarily on the basis of CAT scores. However, IIM Udaipur also considers various academic parameters while selecting students. Following is the minimum CAT cut-off required to secure admission in IIM Udaipur:

Like the other IIMs, IIM Udaipur also shortlists students on the basis of various components apart from the CAT 2017 score. Weightage is also given to personality assessment tests such as personal interview and writing ability test. Extra points are also given to candidates who have pursued professional programmes such as CA, ICWA or CS. The work experience score of candidates varies according to the duration of work. Candidates with less than seven months of work experience or those with more than sixty months of work experience are not awarded any points for work experience. Candidates are notified regarding the admission through email and they will have to confirm their admissions by paying confirmation fees. The selection process at IIM Udaipur will begin after the announcement of CAT result.

Post Graduate Program in Management for Executive (PGPX)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must have a bachelors degree from any recognized university.

  • Any candidate with GMAT score can apply.

  • Minimum 30 Months work experience.

  • Candidates are required to submit proof of English proficiency.

Admission Process

 

Selection of students is jointly done by IIM Udaipur and Purdue University.

Part-1: IIM Udaipur

  • candidates are shortlisted on the basis of above mention eligibility criteria and they will be called for the second round of Personal Interview.

  • Provisional offer for admission is made on the basis of Profile, academic profile, work experience, GMAT scores and Personal interview.

Part-2: Krannert School of Management, Purdue University

  • Candidates who have completed the part-1 and complete the application requirement for admission to the MS course at Purdue University.

  • After initial screening and a personal interview process at Purdue University the applicants are made an offer of admission by Krannert School of Management
