IIT Tirupati Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

IIT Tirupati Admission 2024 - Admission to B.Tech course at IIT Tirupati is ongoing. Candidates who clear JEE Main 2024 will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2024. The online registration process for JEE Advanced 2024 is going to start on April 27, 2024, and will end on May 07, 2024. The last day to pay the registration fees for the exam is May 10, 2024. The JEE Advanced 2024 admit card will be released on the official website and can be downloaded from May 17 to May 26, 2024. The entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 26, 2024. JoSAA counselling process 2024 is expected to start on June 10, 2024.  IISc Bangalore has released the GATE 2024 schedule on its official website for IIT Tirupati admission to M.Tech courses in the academic year 2024. The GATE exam is held online as a computer-based test for 30 papers. Candidates are required to solve 65 questions in 180 minutes (3 hours).

Candidates must visit the IIT Tirupati official website for the IIT Tirupati application form & information brochure of the IIT Tirupati UG and PG admission 2024. Candidates are requested to fill out their application forms correctly and should submit the printed copy of the application form along with attested copies of original documents and the payment receipt. The registration fees can be paid through SBI collect only. IIT Tirupati Admission Process 2024

The admission process for IITT differs from one course to another as some are based on scores obtained by the individuals clearing JEE Mains and JEE Advanced, later followed by counselling, and others through entrance exams conducted by the IIT Tirupati itself.

IIT Tirupati admissions process of courses like B.Tech., M.Tech, M.Sc, PhD, M.S. (Research), MPP are as follows:

• Candidates must apply for IITT admission 2024 online on the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati official website. 
• Candidates are required to fill out the application form for the desired course giving all the basic information and upload the scanned documents with the necessary attestation.
• The admission is then completed after paying the admission fees for the opted course.
• The candidates are requested to have their email id and phone number before applying to any of the courses of Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati. Submission of a valid OBS-NCL/ EWS/ SC/ ST/ PwD certificate is a must at the time of the admission process.
• After filling out the application form, candidates need to pay the application fees of Rs 400 for OBC-NCL Male candidates/GN/EWS and Rs 200 for both OBC-NCL female candidates/GN/EWS and SC/ST/PwD candidates.
• Candidates should know that the IIT Tirupati application fees are non-refundable and can be paid only through SBI.
• It is advised to keep a printout of the IIT Tirupati application form for the registration number and other login credentials including the payment details of the application fee.
• Candidates will receive a detailed admission confirmation after IIT Tirupati verifies the respective application form.
• Students must have a valid GATE exam or UGC-NET-JRF or other entrance examinations such as JEE advance scores to get themselves enrolled in the IIT Tirupati.
• Candidates who have no valid GATE or any other entrance examinations score are required to give another written test conducted by the Institute itself followed by an interview. 
• Candidates are selected from a final merit list which is then obtained on the official site of the institute on the basis of marks obtained in written and interviews. The selection is purely merit-based. Other rounds of the interview may take place for individual courses like PhD, M.Tech, M.S (Research).
• Admission to the research department is based on meeting the eligibility criteria of having a master’s degree in their respective domains. Regular and external research scholars can be selected under Project funding or HTRA Institute, or a research scholar under the external registration programme should perform in any industry or organisation brushing up their skills and must have an experience of two years in the parent organisation.
• Admission to the PhD programme is generally made by taking into account the marks obtained in UGC-NET-JRF/GATE/ CSIR/INSPIRE/NBHM/JEST.

IIT Tirupati Application Process 2024

• They should visit the online portal of IIT admission 2024 on the IITT official website. 
• Open the menu and click on the admission tab.
• Click on the “To apply online” menu on their desired degree.
• After clicking on the “click here” option beside “to apply online”, it will take the candidate to the login page where they are required to “create login”.
• All the candidates are required to the register with COAP and enter the registration number under that on their first step of the application.
• The candidate is then required to choose “apply online” and complete the application form filling up the details.
• They must save their reference number and enter the same in the online application form. The payment is payable only through SBI collection.
• They should take out a printout of the application form as well.
