BCET Gurdaspur Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

The college campus including the instructional buildings, amenties, residential and other facilities is spread over 70 acres of Land.

The College has four boys Hostels and one Girls Hostel.
The various facilities available in the hostels are as under :

• Adequate furniture and fixtures in every room.

• Common Room with T.V. Set.

• Telephone

• Guest Room

• Facilities for Indoor Games

• Hostel mess works on Cooperative Mess System.

• Internet facility is provided in the hostels through 6 Mbps leased line.

Fine arts club shows the artistic work of students. This club provides a broader view of art to the students to show their innovation and creativity. Students participate in the various activities organized by the club and show their art.

The events which are organized by the club includes Rangoli, Mehandi, Cartooning, Paint the face, Poster making and Collage making etc

NCC Activities

The Indian Parliament passed the National Cadet Corps Act in 1948, thus creating the National Cadet Corps (NCC). The motto of the NCC is Unity and Discipline. The Aims of the National Cadet Corps are;

To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular out look, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and the ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizens.

To create a human resource of organized, trained and activated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life including the Armed Forces and always available for the service of the nation.

The NCC is open to all regular students of schools and colleges on a voluntary basis. The cadets have no liability for active military service. The Senior Division of Army wing in our college has entry for both boys and girls.

Ranks for senior division cadets in the NCC are as under:-

Music and Dramatics (M&D) activities are the basic needs of one’s life. They can enlighten the soul and refresh the mind. In combination with studies, these activities play a vital role in polishing a student’s persona. Just like sports, music and dramatics activities help a student to provide a break from a loaded study schedule to relax, refresh and to develop/improve any skills in these fields that will always add to a students overall abilities.
