September 04, 2025Merit List II for Post Graduate Admission 2025-26 (M.Com. & M.A. English) - Dear Applicants, the 2nd Merit list for Admission 2025-26 has been declared. You can check your merit list status by logging into the Applicant Login. The last date for payment of the admission fee is Monday, 08th September 2025. For payment, you can log in to the Applicant Login on the college website and pay through the online payment gateway or cash at Federal Bank. Please ensure that the 'Add on Information' and 'Document Upload' are completed within 2 days from the date of updating your admission fee payment. Note that any payment made after 08/09/2025 will not be considered valid for admission. Students not merit listed should wait for the third merit list, which may be published subject to seat availability and fulfillment of cut-off criteria.
July 18, 2025Merit List V Extension for Under Graduate Admission 2025-2026 - The 5th Merit List (extension) for Under Graduate Admission 2025-2026 has been published. Applicants can check their merit list status by logging into the Applicant’s Login or by clicking on the provided link. The last date for fee payment is Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Any payment made after this date will not be considered valid for admission. Merit-listed students should follow the instructions provided for the admission procedure. Note that no merit list will be published for B.Sc. Computer Science (Honours), B.A. Journalism & Mass Comm. (Honours), and B.B.A. (Hons).

BESC Kolkata B.Com Admission
A candidate taking up Honours Course in a subject must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.
OR, 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.
BESC Kolkata BBA Admission
1. A candidate must have obtained 55% marks in aggregate with Mathematics or Accountancy or Economics or Business Economics with Mathematics in Class XII.
2. Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD & PI) will be taken.
3. In order to be eligible for GD & PI, student must deposit both the fees i.e. Application and Admission fees.
BESC Kolkata BSc Admission
A candidate taking up Honours Course in a subject must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the Honours subject at the previous qualifying examination.
OR, 55% marks in the Honours subject at the previous qualifying examination.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (B.Sc Honours)
Honours Subject Requirement
- Physics: Must have PASS marks in Mathematics and Chemistry
- Chemistry: Must have PASS marks in Mathematics and Physics
- Economics: Must have PASS marks in Mathematics
- Mathematics: Must have PASS marks Mathematics (No related subject permitted)
- Computer Science: Must have 45% in Maths and 45% marks in Computer Science or Physics
BESC Kolkata BA Admission
A candidate taking up Honours Course in a subject must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the Honours subject at the previous qualifying examination.
OR, 55% marks in the respective Honours subject at the previous qualifying examination.
