BMSCE Cut Off 2024, 2023, 2022 - Previous Year's Cutoff List

BMSCE cutoff 2024 will be released at the time of COMEDK counselling 2024 by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka. The counselling will be conducted in June 2024 tentatively. The expected BMSCE Cutoff 2024 is 535 - 539 for the BE Computer Science and Engineering course through the COMEDK exam. The cutoff will also depend on the category of candidates. Candidates who wish to get admission to the B.Tech Data Science course at BMSCE must aim for a rank between 705 and 709. Admission to BTech courses at BMSCE  is done through the COMEDK UGET exam. Similarly, for BE IOT & Cyber Security Including Blockchain, the expected cutoff 2024 for BMSCE  is 1100 - 1105.

BMSCE cutoff is prepared on the basis of KCET cutoff which is released by KEA. The cutoff will be released in the form of opening & closing ranks during June 2024 at the time of KCET counselling. Candidates who are interested in admission might be curious about BMSCE cutoff for BE. According to past years cutoff trend, the expected  BMSCE cutoff 2024 for BTech CSE through KCET is 890 - 895. Candidates who wish to get admission to BTech Mechanical Engineering should also aim for a rank between 23325 to 23329 in KCET for admission. Similarly, the BMSCE cutoff for BTech ECE and EEE is expected to be 2940 - 2945 and 8345 - 8349 respectively. Moreover, for BE Information Science & Engineering, the expected cutoff for BMSCE is 1745 - 1749. Admission to BTech courses at  BMSCE is done through the KCET score.

Analysing the cut-off trends for BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) from 2021 to 2023 shows a significant rise in BE Computer Science and Engineering cutoff. The CSE cutoff witnessed a jump of over 400 ranks (from 498 in 2021 to 891 in 2023) for the closing rank in the General All India category. Similarly, BE Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and BE Information Science & Engineering also saw a rise of around 1000 ranks (715 in 2021 to 1749 in 2023).

BMSCE cutoff for BE Electronics & Communication Engineering and BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering have also seen a rise. Moreover, BE Aerospace Engineering shows a fluctuating trend, with a significant drop (6156 in 2021 to 8027 in 2023). BE Biotechnology, BE Chemical Engineering, and BE Mechanical Engineering all witnessed a rise in cut-off ranks, suggesting an increase in competition for these core engineering programs as well.
