IMI Delhi Campus

International Management Institute New Delhi Campus is a place that has been structured to comfort the students in its best way. The institution was established in 1981 in collaboration with IMI Geneva (now IMD Lausanne). Being situated at the Qutub Institutional Area, the IMI New Delhi Campus has bagged a special point of attraction by the students interested in taking admission in the institution. IMI New Delhi is the first corporate sponsored institution of India, which makes it more appealing for the aspirants of management studies.

The IMI Delhi infrastructure consists of comfortable classrooms, auditorium, computer centre, library, information centre, 24*7 Security, hostels, health care services, etc. All these facilities are available in the best way for the students of the institution. To be precise the institution aims to create a comfort zone for the students so that they may flourish with the best of everything.

The classrooms and the auditorium facilitates cross-functional learning for its students. The fully air-conditioned classrooms and comfortable furniture help to ease the study time of the students and promotes them to attend more classes. With an initiative of making classrooms an environment for the overall development of the students, International Management Institute New Delhi has focused on providing even the smallest comfort part for the students. The classrooms are also laced with Internet and Intranet Connectivity, Laptop Notebook Computers, OHP Projectors, Electronic Copy Boards, audio and visual support system and DLP Multimedia Projectors, so that the students may witness a better way of learning and acquiring knowledge.

The classrooms have been complimented with BOC Conference Room, RPG Auditorium, Tata Chemicals Computer Centre and Williamson Major Library. The IMI New Delhi facilities also include a Library that has been well settled with a good collection of books and reference materials along with a good space to accommodate more than 50 students at a time. With over 25660 books and 6779 periodicals, the library helps students to dig out all the relevant and needful information related to management and business.

IMI Delhi Hostel & Fees Structure

The modern and aesthetically designed residence at IMI, New Delhi forms an integral part of the academic and social life of the students. Besides promoting group study and learning outside the classroom, the residential accommodation also enables participants to optimally utilise IMI resources like the library and computing facilities with internet and intranet available in all the hostel rooms. This gives the students the opportunity to learn either among their peers or through various knowledge resources made available to them around the clock.

The residence provides the students with a green environment, excellent mess facilities, well-furnished rooms and recreational facilities including a modern air-conditioned gymnasium. The Amphitheatre is the venue of most social activities such as “Kritva”, the annual management festival of IMI, New Delhi.

Rooms are furnished and allotted to the students on single as well as double occupancy basis.

Students Activities & Clubs

Marketing Club -

An amalgamation of theory and practice, the perfect blend of rigor and recreation, the Marketing Club at IMI stands for all this and more. It is a student run organization and reaps the benefit of being mentored by the eminent marketing faculty of the institute.                                 

The club inculcates the art and skill of marketing in the students through regular simulations, quizzes and articles. It aims to update the knowledge of students through interaction with other B-school students as well as industry stalwarts in the field of Marketing. We provide platform to the student to interact with senior industry people through BTL series, Annual Marketing summit, Workshops etc. Apart from this we engage through student community outside IMI Delhi through our national level events like Excalibur, Markagon etc. 


Finance Club -

The Finance club has an objective of providing a constructive platform for helping the budding finance warlocks grow, and apply the theoretical concepts they have learnt in real life. The club’s activities explore the various verticals within Finance including stock markets, investments, equity research, financial policies etc. through competitions, workshops and speaker sessions. Some of the events of Finance club are: Globus Feneratus - an online stock simulation game, Fin Charades, Stock Mind and the Annual Finance Summit as a part of Conventus


Operations Club -

The Operations club focuses on raising awareness, interest, and knowledge about Operations Management among students within and beyond the classroom and aids them in obtaining real-time experience of working in an Operations-focused role. This objective is achieved by facilitating contacts with practicing professionals from diverse sectors via organizing guest lectures in the annual management conclave and several other competitions. Some of the events of Operations club are: Ranneeti - a strategy game, Vidhan - a B-plan competition, Ops Quiz and the annual business conclave held during Conventus.
 


HR Club -

The HR club functions with the sole objective to equip the students with the required industry exposure and the latest industry requirement in terms of skills and expertise in various fields of HR. HR club conducts various events as part of Kritva and a panel discussion as a part of Conventus. Apart from the industry facing events, there are several internal initiatives taken up by the club which respond to the student needs, such as Guest lectures on the latest issues in HR world, regular in-house quizzing and over Coffee interaction between senior and junior batch.


Economics Club -

The Economics Club aims to sharpen student’s business and economics acumen. The Club plays a vital role in creating awareness about the recent happenings in the economic world amongst the student community and to create the linkage with the theoretical concepts taught in the class and their implications in the corporate world. This is done by conducting various events like Ecovista, a national level Eco Quiz, Arthneeti, an inter B-School case study competition with live cases from Business Houses and Treasure-o-Mania, an exciting treasure hunt with concepts of economics embedded in it, where future managers from all Top B-schools participate, showcase and enhance their skills. The club issues a weekly ‘Story of the Week’ that helps the students to learn and update themselves about the recent happenings in the world of Economics.


Entrepreneurship Club -

Entrepreneurship Cell aims to cater to the needs of aspiring entrepreneurs as well as to shape the mindset of strategic thinkers. The club is primarily responsible to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship amongst the young entrepreneurs and also to provide experiential learning opportunities for students to bridge the gap between strategic concepts learned in the classroom and the complex challenges faced in today’s business environment. The club provides networking opportunities to students with entrepreneurs, investors as well as strategy leaders in the commercial and academic world. To accomplish the mission the club conducts various events like: E-TNT, Yojana, Launchpad, Business Showcase, Workshops and a panel discussion conducted as a part of Conventus.


Consulting Club -

Strategy is an integral part of any business and fits with all the functional areas- Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR or IT. The Consulting and Strategy Club of IMI New Delhi acts as a bridge between the industry and the aspiring managers by providing avenues to inculcate apposite skill-sets to understand the domain, solve real time strategic challenges and gain enough exposure before moving onto the Consulting and Strategy macrocosm. These objectives are met through business simulation games, case study competitions and time-to-time interactions with industry veterans. Maestro de Thrones, the flagship event of the club is a national level Strategy game based on Game Theory. Apart from imparting core knowledge, the club cultivates expertise in event management, creativity, marketing of events and team building.


Cultural Club -

Culture and Event Management Cell as the name suggests is responsible for organizing cultural events and spreading awareness among the students about the beauty in diversity of the Indian culture. It uses performing arts to help students embrace and celebrate the rich dimensions of the diversity on campus. In addition, the club promotes interaction among the students and strives to bring cheerful smiles on their faces. The flagship event of the club is “Kritva”, the Annual Management and Cultural Festival of IMI, which is spread over 3 days. The event witnesses participation from the topmost B-schools around the country as well as corporate brands. Several internal events and parties are organized to keep the spirits in the campus high, like- Freshers, Teacher’s day, Independence Day, Lohri party, Holi, Eid, Farewell, to name just a few. Apart from these events, Hindi classes for International students are conducted by the club in order to equip them with the local language. Culture and Event Management Cell makes sure there is always fun and enthusiasm at the campus. 


Social Club -

As the world advances by leaps and bounds with each passing day, one word that has become imperative is ‘sustainability’. As future managers and the harbingers of social awareness, we must take an active interest in preserving what is depleting today. Therein lies the birth and the purpose of existence of Jagriti. To serve the cause of society, Jagriti organizes several events such as Tree Plantation Drive, Blood Donation Camp, Marathon, Blanket Donation Drive to name just a few. At Jagriti, groups of young, self-driven students take it upon themselves to spread awareness across the college and the city. The committee is dedicated to illuminating lives as far as they can.


Sports Club -

Sports Club at IMI conducts various intra-college and inter-college events to keep the environment at the college fun-filled and enthusiastic. The intra-college events include events held to bring together students in a spirit of sportsmanship over matches held between juniors and seniors, students and teachers, current students and Alumni. Some of the famous events of this league are: Volleyball Premier League, Table Tennis Grand Prix Tournament etc. Spardha, the annual Sports festival of IMI, is organized and managed by the Sports Club.
