Chennai Institute of Technology B.E in Mechanical Engineering Eligibility Criteria
The Chennai Institute of Technology requires a minimum average score of 45% for open category students, 40% for backward, most backward, and Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe students for admission to B.E. and B.Tech. courses. Candidates must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Students who have secured greater than or equal to 190 will be provided a scholarship, and their four years fee will be waived off. For UG Lateral Entry, the average percentage of score required is 45% for open category students, 40% for backward, most backward, and Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe students.

Overall It has modern infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, libraries, and other facilities to support academic. The university aims to provide quality education and foster research and innovation among its students.
Placement All students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 13.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4.8 LPA. Our college also provides training for better recruitment.
Infrastructure Infrastructures of the college is good. Classrooms are spacious. We also have a lecture hall in this college. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled 24X7. There is a huge library in our university
Faculty The faculty that are provided to us are very good. The teachers hold Ph.D. Degree in their subjects which means that they have very good knowledge. They always help us and guide us.
Hostel The hostel is the best in the college as it helps and encourages the students to improve. Hostels have a tv room and gaming hall and that hall is open all time. There is also good mass facilities

Overall Our College is good at centre of excellence and our College is collaborated with many Industries. In my point of view there is more opportunities to take part. Our College has 98% placements. Highest package of our College is 51 lakh per annum. Our College give more importance for extra curriculum activities. Many Startup’s are started in our College ,even the students of second year also started Startup’s. I got very good experience in my College. Thank You.

Hostel Our Hostel has more features like 24 hours free unlimited wi-fi. Water facilities also very good. Our hotel is always clean and neat. The surrounding of the hotel is very hygienic.
