Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering Courses

Courses offered at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering comprise undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral-level courses. There are a total of 18 DSCE BE courses at the UG level. M.Tech, MBA and MCA are the DSCE courses offered at the postgraduate level. For admission to M.Sc Engineering/PhD courses, the Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering eligibility criteria is that candidates must have a postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Coming to the DSCE fees structure, candidates have to pay the tuition fees at the time of counselling and the admission fee is to be paid to the college. The Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering fee structure is different for PGCET/KEA/COMED-K quota and management quota. For instance, candidates who are willing to take admission in the M.Tech programme through the PGCET quota have to pay a tuition fee of Rs 77, 310 to KEA and an admission fee of Rs 44, 326 to the college. Whereas, those admitted through Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering management quota were asked to pay Rs 2,50,000 to the college.

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering Eligibility Criteria

BE Programmes

CET/COMED-K Quota: A pass in PUC/12th/10+2 or equivalent examination in the first attempt with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with English as one of the subject/languages.

A pass in PUC/12th/10+2 or equivalent examination with 45 % marks aggregate in Physics, Mathematics & any one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biology / Computer science / Electronics.

For candidates who belong to Karnataka SC, ST & other backward classes (category-1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B) the minimum mark for the eligibility is 40% in aggregate in the optional subjects.

Management Quota: Candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry are compulsory subjects.

M.TechA pass in B E/ B.Tech or equivalent examination
MBA

Candidates must pass the prescribed qualifying examinations with at least 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the years/semesters of the degree examinations.

For candidates belonging to SC/ST and any other groups classified by the Government of Karnataka for such purpose, the aggregate percentage of marks in the qualifying examinations shall be not less than 45%.

Management Quota: Candidates must have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with at least 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the years/semesters of the degree examinations. The students who have either taken PGCET, MAT, CAT or KMAT are eligible based on merit into the program.

M.Sc Engineering/PhDMaster's degree from any recognised university or any other equivalent qualification.
MCA

Candidates must pass the prescribed qualifying examinations with at least 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the years/semesters of the degree examinations.
