What is the MBBS Admission Process for Foreign Nationals?

As an international student seeking MBBS admission in India, you have made a very sensible decision, for Indian medical colleges give quality education at much more affordable rates in comparison to Western countries. The admission procedure for foreign nationals is completely different from the one being followed for Indian students, since, in most cases, you need not appear for NEET.
However, you have to fulfil certain eligibility requirements laid down by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and individual colleges. Foreign students can apply directly to deemed universities and private medical colleges, while some seats under the NRI quota are also available in government institutions. The acceptance procedure consists of document verification, eligibility verification, securing the admission letter, and then applying for the student visa to come to India.

Dear Student,

It is unlikely to secure admission to BDS courses with a NEET 2025 rank of 5, 51, 575 in any top-tier government college, especially under the All India Quota seats. However, students securing this rank can apply to several lower-tier government colleges like SCB Dental College and Hospital, Agartala Government Dental College, Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, and Patna Dental College and Hospital.

Thank You

Dear guardian,

It is important to note that DYPMC Pune does not offer any BSc courses for its students. If your sister is interested in getting admission to DYPMC Pune then she can consider other UG courses which are offered by this college. One such popular UG course is MBBS. For DYPMC Pune admission to MBBS, candidates need to pass class 12 with the PCB course and pass the NEET UG exam. Keep in mind that admission to MBBS through NEET UG is done through the counselling process only. You can not get direct admission into DYPMC Pune.
