What after WB JELET round 1 seat allotment includes majorly checking the allocation status and paying the seat acceptance fee of Rs 5000. Once you have paid the fee, you must download your provisional allotment letter from the WB JELET counselling portal. The next important step is physically reporting to the allotted institute/ colleges within the specified dates for document verification and admission confirmation. Students must carry all original certificates and a self-attested copy of each while visiting the institute.

Additionally, after WB JELET seat allotment for phase 1, you must choose between YES or NO for the upgradation option based on whether you want a better seat in Round 2 or are content with the allocation. Vellore Institute of Technology is conducting the VITEEE 2026 exam from April 28 to May 3, 2026, in multiple slots.
