Factor Affecting the GLC Mumbai Cutoff 2026

Several important factors decide the MH CET Law cutoff for Government Law College Mumbai every year. Since Mumbai GLC admission is very competitive, the cutoff percentile changes based on these points:

  • Exam Difficulty: If the MH CET Law paper is tough, scores go lower, so the cutoff percentile may decrease slightly.
  • Number of Students: If more students apply, competition increases, and the cutoff becomes higher.
  • Seat Availability: GLC Mumbai has limited seats (300 for 3-year LLB and 240 for BA LLB). If seats stay the same and applicants increase, the cutoff rises.
  • Reservation Categories: Cutoffs are different for General, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS categories as per government rules.
  • Domicile Status: Maharashtra (MS) students and Outside Maharashtra (OMS) students have different quotas. OMS usually has higher cutoffs.
  • College Preference: GLC Mumbai is a top law college, so most students choose it first, keeping the cutoff very high (around 98–99 percentile).
