NIRF Ranking 2023 is out. As per NIRF Ranking 2023, Nalsar University of Law has been placed in the third position in the law category.
NALSAR University of Law is a public state university certified by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and recognised by the University Grants Commission. It was founded in 1998 by the Andhra Pradesh State Legislature (UGC). NLU Hyderabad is another name for it. The NAAC has given the university an 'A++' grade with a score of 3.60. The university's campus is 55 acres in size. There are 41 professors at NALSAR University of Law. NLU offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programs. NLU Hyderabad courses offer full-time undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and diploma programmes in law and management. NLU Hyderabad courses also provide part-time programmes through the NALSAR Directorate of Distance Education and full-time programs (DDE). Aspirants interested in applying for these NALSAR courses must appear for the entrance exam. Candidates seeking NALSAR University Hyderabad admission must take the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). NALSAR Collaborations
The University has collaborated on research with the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Cumberland School, Samford University, Centre for Disability Law & Policy, University of Ireland, and others. In conjunction with various international universities, the university offers 32 student and faculty exchange programs, some of which are listed below.
In April, the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) in Hyderabad began its 2020 placement campaign. The students were given attractive packages during the placement drive. The cohort participating in the placement 2020 was offered a median CTC of Rs 16.50 LPA. During NLU Hyderabad (NALSAR) Placements 2020, 75 B.A.LLB and 45 LL.M students were placed. 69 students participated in NLU Hyderabad (NALSAR) Placements 2020, and 47 were placed. 23 pre-placement offers and 16 Day Zero offers were made during the placement process. The recruiters also offered 8 foreign placement offers. The students receive the maximum CTC of INR 42 LPA. The median CTC for the B.A.LLB batch was INR 16.50 LPA, whereas the LL.M batch received INR 8 LPA.
NALSAR University of Law's Recruitment Coordination Committee (RCC) handles undergraduate recruitment, whereas the LRCC handles LLM placements at NALSAR (NLU Hyderabad). Similarly, NALSAR University MBA placements and internships are organized by TPAC (Training and Placement Advisory Cell). According to a media report, NALSAR placements had a 100% placement rate, with more than 73 overall placements. ITC Ltd, Reliance Mutual Fund, Khaitan & Co., and ICICI Bank were among the recruiters participating in the placement process.
