Delhi High Court hearing on CLAT PG 2025: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has informed the Delhi High Court that it may reconsider its decision to use CLAT PG 2025 scores for recruiting lawyers. This comes after a petition was filed challenging the NHAI's August 11 notification, which sought to engage 44 young professionals based on their CLAT 2022 scores. The petitioner, advocate Shannu Baghel, argues that using CLAT PG scores for public employment is arbitrary and unreasonable, as the test is designed to assess merit for higher studies in law, not for professional employment.
The court has taken note of this argument and has scheduled the next hearing for September 18, 2025. Meanwhile, the NHAI has extended the application deadline for the recruitment until September 25, 2025.
