HBTU Kanpur B.Tech in Chemical Engineering - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2026

Overall My getting a great experience in this college related to academics, intern or looking forward to our seniors that getting placed at the best companies.

Overall From my point of view the college is a new Home for all of us where we meet new faces and makes life long bonds with them.The basic facilities, placements , infrastructure all are okay here ,but yes I must say being in this college which make you to live your life to the fullest .

Placement Here the placements are good as we have a strong alumni network and the students here are also talented."Success is not final ,failure is not fatal,it's the courage that counts"inspired by this quote the faculty motivates the students to have faith in themselves and work with utmost determination to grab a fantastic placement and make their parents proud.

Infrastructure The infrastructure of my college is quite underscore not up to the mark.Overall it's I must say spreaded over a large area i.e. a big campus to move around with a large library and various types of canteens .The main building is old fashioned and needs some renovation rest as a whole it's okay cauz it's a government institution .

Faculty The faculty here is outstanding with a deep knowledge of the subjects.The teachers are educated from highly prominent institutions of India and abroad,they try to connect the theoretical aspects with the practical world making us a valuable engineer for our country's betterment.

Hostel Yeah,the hostel Life here is amazing with good mess food but at the same time the hostels lack various types of basic facilities with poor infrastructure and not proper functioning of hostel norms but as we all know hostel Life is one time experience of our lives so as a whole being in that hostel is a glorious memory of my life.

Overall Harcourt butler technical university offers a dynamic learning environment that boost up the intellectual growth and personal development. This University is known for his experiental learning. Though internship, community engagement and placement opportunities, it provides student a better living after graduation.

Placement Placement is very good in this college. So many companies come here including TCS, Wipro, Reliance, Exxon mobile etc every year and they gives maximum package to the deserving student. In technology branches including chemical, paint,plastic etc two branches chemical and paint technology student gain maximum placement every year including chemical 100% placement from last two years

Infrastructure Old building of this college is not so better but it is repaired due to visit of NAAC team. And new chemical engineering department infrastructure is very amazing as it was made in year 2023.and so many new department are under construction

Faculty Faculty of this university is veru coordinating and involves in many research activities and also give opportunity to students to do work with them on any specific project. Especially chemical engineering department faculty is really very good in which many professor have their contact in foreign and they are very helping in nature and gives opportunities to the students to go for any big goal

Hostel Condition of hostel is not so good. Rooms are average looking and in some rooms,fans are not properly working . But mess food is alright as it involves diversification in food every day and also in special occasion , elegant food are also provided with amazing sweets.

Overall While i entered in my college i feel exited and due to my introvert behavior i was unable to explore anything and stuck inside my room and gaming online but while years pass i also able to understand everything and got my btech degree

Placement The placement cell of my college is also good in chemical engineering about 60% students are already placed on campus in 7th semister and rest are getting placed in 8th semister with approx 6lpa

Infrastructure The college infrastructure is very old, the east campus is renovated some time ago and the main campus is good and new buildings constructed near it like lhc, auditorium etc but east capmpus gymnasium is destroyed and badminton court is about to be.

Faculty The faculty members of my college are all educated and good teachers. Everyone teaches a single specific subject and my favourite is workshop and practical subjects of my college because we got to do things ourself.
