Overall: Harcourt butler technical university offers a dynamic learning environment that boost up the intellectual growth and personal development. This University is known for his experiental learning. Though internship, community engagement and placement opportunities, it provides student a better living after graduation.

Placement: Placement is very good in this college. So many companies come here including TCS, Wipro, Reliance, Exxon mobile etc every year and they gives maximum package to the deserving student. In technology branches including chemical, paint,plastic etc two branches chemical and paint technology student gain maximum placement every year including chemical 100% placement from last two years

Infrastructure: Old building of this college is not so better but it is repaired due to visit of NAAC team. And new chemical engineering department infrastructure is very amazing as it was made in year 2023.and so many new department are under construction

Faculty: Faculty of this university is veru coordinating and involves in many research activities and also give opportunity to students to do work with them on any specific project. Especially chemical engineering department faculty is really very good in which many professor have their contact in foreign and they are very helping in nature and gives opportunities to the students to go for any big goal

Hostel: Condition of hostel is not so good. Rooms are average looking and in some rooms,fans are not properly working . But mess food is alright as it involves diversification in food every day and also in special occasion , elegant food are also provided with amazing sweets.

Overall: I have completed my btech in mechanical engineering from Harcourt butler technical university kanpur. It is newly experience for me in this College. It has several branches over here.

Placement: Placement ratio is slightly bit good here. Around 70-80% students got placed. Tcs,ninja,wipro,google,Microsoft this type of company's also join here. The highest package is around 60lac. The average package is 7-8lac.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good of this College. There are greenery and clean water provided by the industry. College fest is organized by our faculty. College condition is little bit good.

Faculty: Faculty of the College is very good. They're very knowledgeable teachers. They provides us extraordinary information as well as possible. New skills are available.

Hostel: Hostel rooms are slightest good things here. There is 3 hostel rooms and 1 mess room. Fresh foods are deliver. Foods,vegetables,milk provided here. The useful things are also provided.

Overall: I won’t say it’s the best college but ya better than private colleges. The coding culture is not upto the mark but other than that there is nothing to worry about. If you get this college, it means you are hardworking and talented and so are everyone elso, so it has good environment.

Placement: Right now recession is going on but other wise the placements were good. I’ll definitely say that currently placements are bad but hopefully they’ll get better

Faculty: The faculty is good. It is very sincere and they are not like every other private college. You have to take the faculty seriously. They might help you in many other things

Hostel: See hostels are like every other government college. They are old but you can survive there. Plus you also have the option to stay outside so I don’t think hostels should be concerned that much while admission

Overall: I am first year BTech Computer science and engineering student of Hurtler Buttler Technical University kanpur, overall the college is good. It has decent placement and good college life.

Placement: Placement of this college is good. Mostly students are placed. It provides good placement even in lower branches like oil and paint, chemical engineering, etc. The average package is 5 lpa and highest package is 60 lpa.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Hurtler Buttler Technical University kanpur is excellent. You will get pleased to visit the college. It has large campus area and large capacity seminar halls. It has good chairs for sitting purpose and college ground is very fit.

Faculty: I am little bit dissatisfied with faculty. The teachers are highly qualified but what they teach students don't understand. They teach in totally English.

Hostel: The hostel facility is very good. You will be given morning breakfast, lunch, dinner and plus point it gives snacks in evening. In snacks sometimes you will be provided fruits.

Overall: The university is very well known and has a remarkable history of more than 100 years .one can get this by appearing in JEE Mains and it has comparatively lower cutoff than many government universities

Placement: Placements have been good for CSE and IT but have been much better for other Branches like EE,Mechanical, Chemical has the best Placements in the college .they can improve for Placements of civil engineering

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is a bit old but new construction have been there in past few years like auditorium and lecture halls and the progress is going on ,will be better in coming future

Faculty: The university boasts a faculty base of about 150 with some guest faculties . The teachers are experienced and supportive. Marking is done bit tough but all over teaching is good.

Hostel: There are about 13 hostels in the university with about 7 hostels in east campus and 6 in west campus . All hostels have basic amenities ,New ones are a bit more good than the old ones . Food is much decent

Overall: I am Ankit Garg ,1st year student of HBTU Kanpur ,my courses is btech in information technology ,, Admission process is simple for admission a student apply for jee main exam and then seperate councilling is done by hbtu , I score 97% Ile in jee main i am able to get IT branch in Hbtu , fees is 135000 per year

Placement: As HBTU is best state government University but placement are not so good ,,my branch placement is ok, almost 80% of students get placed from my courses with average of 9 LPA and max 15 LPA. All over btech average placement is 6.5 LPA

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so good it is too much old and classes are just like school or tution classroom and lab are so not very well but campus are full of greenery

Faculty: Faculty members are well educated and mostly faculty done their master ,PhD from IIT so faculty are good,, some guest faculty are also good but some are very strict

Hostel: Hostel facility Is overall good ,, but one problem is that that mostly boys hostel in west campus so there is problem of traveling otherwise mess food is good

Overall: Teachers are very much experienced they have so much knowledge their average experience is of 17 years.They are very much passionate abour their work and they love to teach students.They never skip any classes

Placement: The placements are also very good especially in technology branches .Almost all the students get placed in very good MNCs at a decent package.Average of around 7-8 lakh

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not very good but sufficent for a student who wants to learn .All the labs are good and functioning properly and we can easily perform all the experiments.we also work on softwares like matlab

Faculty: The faculty is very nice and they are very much supportive they have immense knowledge and they are very much passionate about their work and teach in a very good manner

Hostel: I am a day scholar but as per the review of my hosteller friends I can say hostel is good but it is little bit far from the campus but overall hostel life is very nice and mess is also nice

Overall: While i entered in my college i feel exited and due to my introvert behavior i was unable to explore anything and stuck inside my room and gaming online but while years pass i also able to understand everything and got my btech degree

Placement: The placement cell of my college is also good in chemical engineering about 60% students are already placed on campus in 7th semister and rest are getting placed in 8th semister with approx 6lpa

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very old, the east campus is renovated some time ago and the main campus is good and new buildings constructed near it like lhc, auditorium etc but east capmpus gymnasium is destroyed and badminton court is about to be.

Faculty: The faculty members of my college are all educated and good teachers. Everyone teaches a single specific subject and my favourite is workshop and practical subjects of my college because we got to do things ourself.

Overall: This overall rating is all about for likeable environment and the greenery of the college.The culture and connection between seniors and juniors and even faculty members is great.

Placement: Placements nowadays are quite good.The average placement lands to 6-7 lakh per year.Good companies visit in the college and maximum students are placed from the college itself and rest goes for higher studies and off campus placement.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Harcourt Butler Technical University is very attractive.The centenary pillar is the best place for taking pictures and the Main building looks very historic.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college provides effective classroom teaching.Their behaviour is very nice with their students and committee members and they also motivate us for the future .

Hostel: Hostel's infrastructure is also very nice and the friendly behaviour of the workers in hostel feel like a home.Hostel mess is very hygienic.Gardens and courts inside the hostel are also very nice.

Overall: HBTI Kanpur, now Harcourt Butler Technical University, boasts a rich legacy and offers a promising future for aspiring engineers. While young as a university, it carries the experience of its 100-year-old institute foundation, evident in its strong academics and vibrant campus life From core branches like Mechanical and Electronics to emerging fields like Data Science, HBTU Kanpur caters to diverse interest of the Student It had got NAAC A+ accreditation too which Reflects the university's commitment to quality education and infrastructure. The College is Having High placement rates, with the average package ranging from INR 8-13 LPA, depending on the branch. Placement in Chemical Engineering Branch and In Non Core - Paint Technology are extremely good There are Diverse clubs, from technical to cultural, catering to various interests and promote extracurricular engagement among students.

Placement: The Placement Track Record is Very Good Recently due to recession there is a downfall in placements of CS And IT Branches but Still The Placement Of Chemical Engineering branches and Paint Technology Branch Is Way too good. Also You get Enough Paid Internship Opportunity in these branches also . The average placement of paint Technology this year is around 7-8 Lakhs INR But in Other Non Core Branches, it is average.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very old but now it has been refurbished due to the visit of NAAC team. Around 135 Acre campus with good faculty of almost everything that a student can ask for. A seperate refurbished department of chemical engineering has been made with the best labs equipment and infrastructure

Faculty: The faculties are very friendly in nature and the professors are very helpful too. The teaching methodology of professor are very unique but some professors are stubborn and you have to bear with that. But the Only Problem with faculty is they don't give you good marks so you are going to have Tough time in maintaining a good Cgpa Especially in The Core Branches.

Hostel: The condition of the rooms in hostels are average but the quality of mess food is quite decent. But the hostel allotted to final year students are pretty good in shape. The Warden in the hostels are stubborn also. In Boys Hostel there is not restricted on entry and exit rules so you don't have to worry about hanging with your college friends at late night.
