Placement: Hbtu kanpur has a very wide alumni network which helps alot in placement opportunities. Many companies visit the college and students who are active and excell in academics easily get placed in the top companies of the country.

Infrastructure: The campus is big and the main building is enormous like a castle and its like a maze. The building is very old and gives a reminisce of British era- the large doors, big classrooms, wooden furniture, and many more things that reminds the old age of the building.

Faculty: The qualifications for being a faculty member in HBTU KANPUR are quite high and so the education provided. All the faculty members are well qualified and give their best with the students who are willing to learn.

Hostel: One of the strengths of HBTU KANPUR is the food provided to students living in hostels. The top notch quality food is made available and the hostels are well maintained with the proper security and wardens.

The alumni sector is so large for this college that one can easily lookout for their seniors which is very helpful for placements and promotions.

Placement: As everyone knows not all college provide handful of placements but HBTU, Kanpur provides a handful opportunities for one's placement. It invites all from the domestic to international companies for the selection of candidates from all fields. The main focus is given to India companies and nearly everyone gets placed. Simply putting the placement ratio is increasing every year as it is the only best college after IIT Kanpur in Kanpur so if a company visits the IIT and does not fulfil its all vacancies then it also visits HBTU KANPUR which is very near to IIT. Hence it gives many chances to collaborate with the best of all IIT's and it is very helpful in having a good placement. Moreover the college is government aided and one can study for government exams which is also very popular in the campus.In all ways HBTU kanpur is a better choice in all ways than any private college with low nirf ranking.

Infrastructure: The main campus building of the college is made since the Britisher era and has been renovated. The infrastructure gives the feel of a wholesome experience of confusing corridors and never-ending paths through classrooms. It attracts one to sit on those old benches that give a feel of that past era. Though it is a 102 years old building there are not so many damages or ruptures which shows how well it was made and is stabilized till date. A little bit of consideration maybe given to the roofs of the rooms which are not generally noticed. Overall the infrastructure is quite attractive and would want you to stay there for long. There are 2 libraries in the campus as well which has all the materials one would require from hard copies to e-books. There's a gym, a badminton court and 2 grounds in the main campus where one interested in sports can enhance his/her talent.

Faculty: The faculty in the HBTU,Kanpur is very knowledgeable and supportive. The guidance is given to those who reach out and have a specific goal in their life. The faculty members try to help their pupils in all ways so that they can learn that they want to. There is not much boundations for any specific domain the faculty is highly educated from esteemed universities. They have a lot of experience in dealing with students issues and making them understand the concepts to the depth. The faculty is very handy and friendly as well. All in all it will helo a child to grow and learn in whatever domain he/she wishes.

Hostel: Hostels are really important for a student as all the academic years have to be spent there. There are in all 6 hostels for girls and boys in btech. Out of which the 2 hostels for girls and 2 hostels for boys are in the east campus near to the main campus while the 4 hostels for boys are in the west campus which is nearly 3km away from the main campus which is a little disturbing for boys to travel everyday from there to here and for lunch. But the merit there is that the curfew timings are liable in the west campus while the curfew timings are strict in the east campus. The interiors of hostels is very nice and the hospitality is good. The mess is also better in comparison to other hostels. One can have an amazing hostel life here in HBTU,Kanpur.
