Holycross Engineering College has formulated a quality system for education in engineering and technology, which has received the internationally acclaimed ISO 9001:2008 certification. HEC is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), an apex body which has been established by an Act of Parliament (Act 52 of 1987). The college is affiliated to Anna University. The college is internationally recognized with a certificate by GIC Guardian Independent Certification and Accreditation by Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ) in the year 2010.
The primary objective of the Placement Cell is to develop student creativity, leadership, team building abilities, critical thinking skills, and ethical awareness. It stimulates the intellectual rigor of the students and prepares them to succeed in the global work place. The Cell trains the students by inviting resource personnel from various domains and exposes the students to the latest developments in their respective field. Arithmetical Ability, Data Interpretation, Communication Skills, Logical Deduction and Group Discussion are some of the skill training delivered to the students. Grooming the students for interviews, and assisting them to land in their aspired job are a part and parcel of the cell activities.
