Following the previous years' pattern, it takes about four to five days from the end of the examination for the authority to announce the response sheet and provisional answer key. ~Must appear and qualify in the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) for admission in to Diploma Courses offered by State Council for Technical Education, Assam for the concerned academic session as notified by the DTE, Assam.
~For admission in to Diploma Courses the candidate must pass the H.S.L.C or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subject with
i. 40% marks in Mathematics and Science for General candidates ii. 35% marks in Mathematics and Science for SC candidates iii. 33% marks in Mathematics and Science for ST candidates.
~Be an Indian Citizen and Permanent resident of Assam
~For all the courses the upper age limit is 20 years on the first day of August of the year of Admission. In case of Modern Office Management course, the upper age limit is 22 years on the 1st day of August of the year of Admission. The upper age limit is relax able by three years in case of candidates belonging to S.C & S.T community. There is no upper age limit for the POST Diploma Courses
