August 22, 2025The MHT CET 2025 CAP Round 3 provisional seat allotment result has been declared on fe2025.mahacet.org. Candidates allotted seats are required to finish the online self-verification process and pay the seat acceptance fee by August 25, 2025.
August 11, 2025The MHT CET 2025 CAP Round 2 seat allotment results have been released on fe2025.mahacet.org. Candidates who have been allotted seats are required to accept the offer and report to their allotted institutes from August 12 to 14. The vacant seat list for Round 3 will be released on August 16, 2025.
August 07, 2025The MHT CET 2025 CAP Round 2 option entry has begun on the fe2025.mahacet.org. Candidates can fill in their choices until August 8, 2025. The provisional allotment result will be declared on August 11, and candidates will be able to accept their allotted seats from August 12 to 14, 2025.
August 01, 2025The MHT CET 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result is now available. Candidates can view their allotment status by logging in at fe2025.mahacet.org. To confirm their admission, they must accept the allotted seat and report to the designated institute by August 3, 2025.
About IIIT Nagpur
The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur, or IIIT Nagpur, as commonly called, is one of the newly formed IIITs and was established in 2016. It is an Institute of National Importance located in Nagpur in Maharashtra. Having received approval from the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India in 2015, IIIT Nagpur is now getting mentored by Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT). IIIT Nagpur was started under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) method.
The Ministry of Education holds 50 per cent of the stakes of the Indian Institute of Information Technology Nagpur, the Government of Maharashtra holds 35 per cent and the remaining 15 per cent is held by industry partners ADCC Infocad and Tata Consultancy Services. The institute is approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The director of VNIT, Narendra Chaudhari, was given the position of mentor-director of IIIT Nagpur.
IIIT Nagpur has shown promising placement statistics, with the highest package reaching 47 LPA and an average package of 13.25 LPA in 2024 while the highest package was 90 LPA in 2023 with an average of 14 LPA. The top recruiters include KPMG, American Express, CISCO, Infosys, TCS, ZS Associates.

IIIT Nagpur Admissions

Yes, IIIT Nagpur does offer fee concessions for OBC-NCL students with a family income of 1 lakh or less. Students with such financial backgrounds are eligible for a 100% tuition fee waiver in IIIT Nagpur; however, while the tuition fee is waived off, you will still have to pay the other fees, such as hostel & mess fees. In order to avail of the waiver, you will have to submit an income certificate along with various relevant documents such as ITR or Form 16 at the time of admission. Note that apart from the fee waiver, some students might also be eligible for scholarships such as cum Means scholarship that provides a stipend.
