The JoSAA 2026 counselling schedule has been released. The registration and choice-filling process will begin on June 2 and conclude on June 11, 2026. The first and second mock seat allocation results will be displayed on June 8 and June 10, respectively. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on June 13, 2026.
CCMT 2026 Counselling Round 1 registration and choice filling process has started. The last date to complete registration is June 5, 2026, while fee payment and choice locking will remain open until June 8, 2026. Candidates can register and fill their choices online at ccmt.admissions.nic.in. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on June 12, 2026.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kottayam is an autonomous engineering institute. It is one of the 20 Indian Institutes of Information Technology that were established by the Indian government's Ministry of Human Resource Development. IIIT Kottayam Admission 2026
IIIT Kottayam admission 2026 will begin with the results publication of the accepted entrance exams. The Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam accepts JEE Main for BTech and Integrated MTech and GATE for MTech admission. The candidates must register online through the official portals of these examinations. For JEE Main 2026, the registration is done through the National Testing Agency (NTA) portal, while GATE 2026 registrations were available on the official GATE 2026 website managed by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati.

How to apply to IIIT Kottayam?

- The candidates must register on the NTA website for JEE Main 2026 & the IIT Guwahati website for GATE 2026 during the specified periods.
- The candidates have to appear for the JEE Main 2026 and GATE 2026. The JEE Main 2026 admit card is out and available on the official website of NTA. The GATE 2026 will begin in early February 2026, and the admit card is available to download on the GOAPS portal.
- After the result, the candidates need to participate in JoSAA, CSAB, and CCMT counselling by registering on their portals. Foreign candidates for BTech admission must apply via DASA UG 2026.
- The candidates are required to fill in college and branch preferences during counselling and await seat allotment based on merit, cutoffs, and availability.
- After seat allocation, the candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee of INR 30,000 – INR 35,000 to confirm the allotted seat. For the SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the fees are lower.
- Candidates have to report to IIIT Kottayam for document verification with required originals like mark sheets, scorecards, category certificates, photo IDs, 5-6 passport-size photographs, migration certificates, and medical fitness certificates.
