NID Jorhat Admission 2024

NID Jorhat admission 2024 for the B.Des programme requires students to take the NID DAT exam. The NID DAT 2024 Prelims results are scheduled to be released on March 28, 2024. March 3, 2024 to April 28, 2024 is when the NID DAT Mains exam will be held for admission to NID Jorhat B.Des programme. The DAT results are used to determine which pupils are chosen.

If a candidate is willing to take admission in NID Jorhat, he/she has to go to the official website of NID and apply online. An aspirant seeking admissions in the NID Jorhat needs to appear for the NID DAT and follow the procedure listed below in order to secure a seat at the institute.

  • The candidate must go the official website of NID and register themselves.
  • Upon registering the candidate is required to log in the admission account of NID.
  • The next step is to fill up the application form of NID DAT and select the course as per the choice.
  • Once all the academic and personal credentials are filled the candidate must upload the scanned images of signature and a passport-sized photograph.
  • After uploading the images the candidate will be redirected to a page through which they can choose to pay the feel either online or through the demand draft. It is to be noted that once the application fee is paid the applicants would not be able to make any more changes in the application form.
  • The form will be considered submitted after the payment has been received by NID.

NID Jorhat GDPD Eligibility Criteria 2024

A candidate willing to pursue GDPD from NID Jorhat needs to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria of the institute before applying for the course. If the aspirant is found ineligible for the exam he/she would not be considered for the further admission process. Described below are the conditions of the institute that need to be met by the candidates applying for the GDPD.

  • The candidate must have passed or must have appeared for class 12/ intermediate exam from any stream (Commerce, Science, Arts and Humanities).
  • The aspirant should have qualified the class 12 exam from any recognized board of education like CBSE, ICSE etc.
  • The candidate must have appeared and cleared the NDI DAT exam. Without it, the aspirant would not be considered valid for admission.

NID Jorhat Selection Process 2024

Instead of getting directly selected to pursue GDPD from NID Jorhat, the candidate goes through a selection process set by NID. NID conducts a design aptitude test and a candidate satisfying the entire eligibility criteria of the institute and qualifying the NID would be considered for admission in the college. The selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in the entrance exam of NID.
