The NIFT 2026 test-takers commented, "Based on past cutoff trends, the NIFT Kangra cutoff rank for 2026 is anticipated to range from 1500 – 1650 for B.Des Fashion Design, 1100 – 1200 for B.Des Fashion Communication, 1100 – 1250 for B.F.Tech Apparel Production, 180 – 220 for M.Des, and 350 – 400 for MFM, etc. among others."

Similar to other colleges, the NIFT Kolkata cutoff rank 2026 will be released during the NIFT 2026 counselling process and seat allocation process in June 2026, tentatively. The NIFT 2026 cutoffs are released separately for UG and PG courses for all the NIFT 2026 participating colleges based on different categories. Previously, the closing rank for B.Des at NIFT Kolkata in the last round fluctuated between 669 and 909 for Fashion Design for the General All India category students. Also, B.Des Fashion Communication stood out as the most competitive specialization, concluding with a closing rank of 503.

According to the NIFT 2026 test-takers, "Based on past year’s trends, the NIFT Kolkata cutoff rank 2026 is expected to range from 350 – 480 for B.Des in Fashion Communication, 400 – 520 for B.Des in Fashion Design, 1000 – 1300 for B.Des in Textile Design, 350 – 450 for B.F.Tech in Apparel Production, and 180 – 240 for Master of Fashion Management (MFM)."

The NIFT Mumbai cutoff ranks 2026 are determined by factors, such as the exam's difficulty level, the number of test takers, and the opening and closing Category Merit Ranks (CMRs) for a certain academic program. The NIFT 2026 exam was held on February 8, 2026. The NTA will disclose the cutoff ranks 2026 for NIFT Mumbai and other NIFT 2026 participating colleges during the seat allotment and the NIFT 2026 counselling process, tentatively in June 2026. The NIFT Bhopal cutoff ranks 2026 are expected to be announced in June 2026 after the NIFT 2026 entrance exam results are released in the last week of April 2026. The cutoff ranks will be disclosed institute-wise at the time when the NIFT 2026 counselling process and seat allotment rounds for NIFT 2026 are going to start, and that will differ as per courses and categories. The National Institute of Fashion Technology conducted the NIFT 2026 entrance exam on February 8, 2026. Though the cutoff ranks for NIFT Bhopal in 2026 have not been declared yet, some information from the previous year can be referred to.
