NIT Raipur B.tech in Chemical Engineering - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2024

Overall: Experience of mine in this college was good.I've got some good friends some well.Qualified teachers who motivated us and helped us in each and every step

Placement: If I talk about placement facility given by this institute.I can say that it is very average.Not all the student got placed , only thirty to forty percent of the student got placed every year , which is very bad

Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastruc7ture of our institute I can say that buildings were creatively made.It was restricted for outsiders to enter into the institute and yes playing area and libraries and cultural activities area over there

Faculty: Best part of this institute is that faculties who are working here are really well qualified.Well knowledgeable and headstudents and motivate students eating each and every step of their college life

Hostel: Best part of hostel is that Clealiness This is maintained by staff.Staff is really good food.Served here was of nice quality.It was restricted to outsiders to enter into the hostel area

Overall: National institute of technology is a national importance college .But in my opinion there are some pros and cons of this college as well. Like this college does not provide hostel facility to all the students studying here That makes a problem for students In academic perspective this college is doing good . Exams are conducting on time .profs are good , so are the PhD scholars . In extra curriculars this college is not so well developed in my opinion . Like the ground for playing cricket and football are same . The events got frequently cancelled or not got that level .I think this is sufficient.

Placement: Placements here are average . Like in metallurgy branch the avg placement is 10-12 lakhs per annum .in cse the avg is 15-20 lakhs here metallurgy and mini g have a good placements because of the coal mines and big steel plants in the region .

Infrastructure: This college have a nice infrastructure for its main building only .The rest of the college are which is around 100 acres is not used properly . Like they can make the use of that are in a much efficient way .but they are not doing it .

Faculty: They have pretty good faculty here .they are highly qualified teachers .they know there subject very well and they deserve to be here . Some profs are highly qualified as they cleared there degree from iits .

Hostel: One of the biggest problems of this college is the hostels . This college does not provide college to all the students .students have to manage their own accomodation outside the college .They have 4 hostel for first year namely malhar ,chitrakoot ,mainpat,and kutumsar.then they have only one big hostel for all 2nd ,3rd,4th year students . In girls 2 hostel for 1st year and one hostel for rest of the year students ..

Hostel: NIT Raipur's hostel facilities offer a comfortable and secure living environment for students, fostering a strong sense of community and camaraderie. The hostel rooms are well-maintained and furnished with essential amenities, providing students with a conducive space for studying and relaxation. The hostel mess serves nutritious and delicious meals, catering to diverse dietary preferences and ensuring students' well-being. Additionally, the hostel staff are friendly and accommodating, providing support and assistance whenever needed. With facilities for recreation, sports, and social gatherings, the hostels at NIT Raipur promote holistic development and a vibrant campus life. Overall, NIT Raipur's hostel infrastructure contributes significantly to the overall positive experience of students, making it a home away from home.

Overall: Ragging is a punishable offence and we all know what happens on the oppressed. Though it's fun for the seniors to do so, but the detrimental effect is obvious Looking into this scenario, our college took the lead and made apt restrictions for ensuring a ragging free space. Here, seniors are cooperative. They are considerate and willing to help their juniors. This college also provides a mandatory course of Value education to all the undergraduates, which is essential for the holistic development of students.

Placement: Placement for CSE branch this year went to 62 lpa in Linkedin. And 7 PPOs were received from Microsoft, 5 from Adobe and so on. Main thing for placement in this college is to maintain good cpi and having crystal clarity about the core subjects.

Infrastructure: My personal overall review for infrastructure is affirmative We have all the basic facilities ranging from gym to sports to garden to high-tech labs which are meant for conducting researches. This college provides a breeding ground for students who are wager to do research. College provides 24/7 free Wi/Fi facility giving upto 300 mbps speed.

Faculty: Faculty of each branch is great. Each department ensures that the faculties are properly teaching their students. They are always ready to clarify our doubts, if incase we have one. Here, more emphasis is given on the practical which gives us a clear insight on the real world applications and how to make it better to meet the ideal conditions.

Hostel: This college has total 7 hostels. 2 for girls and 5 for boys. Hostel rooms are well maintained and each room has good internet connectivity through Ethernet. Mess food are heathy and hygienic. Full care is taken on the menu. If we are not satisfied with any food, then we can clearly mention it to the Mess commitee and get it corrected. Sports facilities are provide in each hostel. It has viz., badminton court, table tennis and volleyball court.

Overall: Practical instruments is present.Facility of study is very good .It is government college.So,fee is very less.Environment is also very good.Mohaul for studying present.

Placement: Placement is available in this a campus.Average package of this campus is eight lakhs.Average percentage of placement is more than fifty percent.So, average placement is very good.

Faculty: Faculty is available for all subject.Practical teacher is also available in campus.For doubt teacher is available for all five day and approximately fifteen hour.

Hostel: Hostel facility is also good.New building is now a day present.Never underestimate the new sof this day.Many facility is available in campus and playground is also prasent.

Overall: According to me overall performance of NIT Raipur should be rated 8 out of 10 . As this college has ragging free environment, nice placements , good hostel facilities, above average faculties, and an average infrastructure (which needs to be improved). However a new campus of NIT Raipur is being built which is 3 times that is 300 acres than the older one.

Placement: Placements of NIT Raipur are above average. Good placements opportunities for each and every branch. Tech placements opportunities are for everyone.If you are eligible then most probably you will get placed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. There is very large percentage of area in campus which is unused and useless wild type plants are growing which further results in population increase of snakes and other reptiles. However buildings which have been made are properly maintained.

Faculty: The behavior of faculties depends upon individual faculties. Some faculties are very supporting and some are not. Faculties given to first year students are inexperienced.

Hostel: Hostels are well managed but all students do not get hostel rooms in hostels are less. Hostels are given on the basis of academic performance. Mess is also very nice. They cook different dishes and the menu is decided according to students however the internet facilities are not at all good

Overall: So basically in overall rating i will be giving quick summary of all the point mentioned 1) placement of cse and IT is good . But in 2024 due to recession there is a struggle 2) infrastracture is old because its one of the oldest nit’s established in 60’s

Infrastructure: So basically being one of the oldest nit the infrastructure lags behind. You must heard that college have 100 acre of campus area only but even that feels too big. College have badminton court, cricket ground , basketball court and currently 1 indoor stadium is being built inside campus that will get ready in 5-6 months. Also the the governmnt have alloted nearly 300-400 acre of land for new campus of NIT raipur.. but the construction haven’t started yet.

Overall: The National Institute of Technology(NIT) Raipur is recognised for its strong engineering programs and dedicated faculty.The campus provides a conductive learning environment,and the institute has made strides in research and innovation

Placement: Placements in NIT Raipur,Which is the best thing about of the college.NIT Raipur is also known for its placements many top companies. The overall average package was INR 10.12LPA.The college is visited by top companies and the placement related aspects taken care of by department of Training and Placement

Infrastructure: The NIT Raipur has has a wide range of infrastructure,such as library with a collection of 1 Lakh print books,Indian prin journals as well as databases,1.7lakh plus ebooks,that would help the students

Faculty: In NIT Raipur the Faculty who are mostly interactive with the students who teaches good in classes and explains in a better way and guides everyone to achieve their goal. The faculty in NIT Raipur are mostly experienced and Talented.They cares for their students.

Hostel: Hostels are not bad in NIT Raipur but u need to score well in semester exams in order to get hostel in next year. Coming to mess food which not upto the mark mostly items are repeated throughout the week with same menu.

Overall: The location of our NIT Raipur college is in the main city of Raipur, because of that the accessability of resources become easy for person. Due to its prime location ,Railway Station , Hospital , Bus stand also very near to college. Our college has a very good coding culture and placements of our college is also very good. You havevto study hard and score well in Jee maiins exams to get this college. A lot of fests are also celebrated in our college, which are celebrated at big level and student community organises the fest.

Placement: Placements of NIT Raipur are very good . Apart from Non core the core fields are also having very good placements . Branches like CSE , IT have an average package is around 17 lpa and core field packages are around 9 lpa . So you dont need to worry about placements, if you will do threshold hardwork , ypu will get a placement for sure. The top recruiters of our colleges are companies like - DE Shaw, Adobe, Dboi, Sprinkker, Delloit ,Capgemini, Jenpeg etc and many more . Core companies are JSW, Zess, Vedanta, Schlumberger etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of NIT Raipur college is good but not very good. Classes are big and in every classes you get projectors as well as smart boards. There are two buildings one is main building and other is architecture building . There is a gym, basketball court , volleyball ground , football ground , tabletennis boards, badminton court and many more playing halls are present. There is also a connected railway station is also present in backside of NIT Raipur.

Faculty: Faculties of NIT Raipur are highly qualified from IITs and they have immense knowledge of their subjects. They always teaches concep as research based and you will understand the concepts well.Proffesors are very supportive and friendly to students , they do not pressurizes much to the students about academic exams and always helps them in placement perspective . By the way there always exists an exception in every field , there are some teachers who are really very strict about every thing linke attendence, marks , behavour etc. But you should take this in positive way that they taught descipline to you.

Hostel: Getting hostel in NIT Raipur is very challanging task , there are limited no. of hostel rooms are available. Hostel will be alloted according to merit basis , you have to score well to get hostel around 8.8+ cpi. You will get a triple sharing hostel rooms which are spacious and you can adjust easily. The mess food quality is not good , you have yo compramise with the food taste . You have to adjust and on every Sunday night the mess is closed and you have to eat from outside.

Overall: Overall faculty and infrastructure is very well but in case of biotechnology department the laboratory equipments are not available for specific lab test sometimes you have to use pressure cooker for sterilization.

Placement: In biotechnology department majorly IT companies come in institute not core biotechnology company so in biotechnology either you will learn coding or pursue mtech of PhD .

Infrastructure: In Nit raipur overall infrastructure is Good along with good classroom and projector . Teachers are well coordinated and highly qualified and came from iits and nits ..

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified for prestigious institute liek iits and nits and well cooperative fot their students one ma'am was Lata upadhyay from iit bhu and Avinash sir is also from good institute.

Hostel: In hostel , wifi connection is very welll along with good internet speed and in hostel in hostel there are 3 boys in one room which is sufficient for them and Along with mess you willl get breakfast Lunch dinner time to time and food quality is also good
