NIT Raipur B.tech in Computer Science & Engineering - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2025

Overall Overall I would say the collage placement are average and campus is also not that great but for people who got lower rank has one of the best option as nit raipur . Computer science branch is also desent

Placement The overall placement for the core branches are good you can get easily above 8 lpa placement but for higher branches it's not that great not all people place even from computer science

Infrastructure Overall I will say that collage placement is good but the campus is not that good if you are looking for large campus . Computer science branch also has an desent placement

Faculty Teachers are actually a good part of the nit nit raipur not all but some teachers are great and there behaviour is also good that you can get a good score

Hostel In my opinion the hostels are good as compared to pg they offer a great meal to students but there are not enough hostels for people so you might will might not get .

Overall So basically in overall rating i will be giving quick summary of all the point mentioned 1) placement of cse and IT is good . But in 2024 due to recession there is a struggle 2) infrastracture is old because its one of the oldest nit’s established in 60’s

Infrastructure So basically being one of the oldest nit the infrastructure lags behind. You must heard that college have 100 acre of campus area only but even that feels too big. College have badminton court, cricket ground , basketball court and currently 1 indoor stadium is being built inside campus that will get ready in 5-6 months. Also the the governmnt have alloted nearly 300-400 acre of land for new campus of NIT raipur.. but the construction haven’t started yet.
