NMCH Patna Cutoff 2026 (Expected)

Expected NEET UG cutoffs for 2026 at Nalanda Medical College Hospital (NMCH) Patna for MBBS admissions under All India Quota (AIQ) are projected based on recent trends showing a stabilization around 10,000-12,000 closing ranks for the General category after a peak in 2024. With approximately 150 MBBS seats and increasing NEET applicants (over 20 lakh annually), cutoffs may rise slightly if the exam difficulty eases, but normalisation and seat expansions could keep them competitive.

Reserved categories are anticipated to follow proportional adjustments from 2025 data, influenced by reservation policies and candidate performance. Aspirants should target ranks under 11,000 for General to secure a spot, monitoring MCC updates post-NEET 2026 results expected in June.

  • General Category Projection: Expected closing rank of 10,500-11,500, a marginal 2-5% improvement over 2025's 10,728, assuming moderate exam difficulty and steady applicant growth.
  • OBC Category Projection: Anticipated at 10,000-11,000, aligning closely with 2025's 10,537, with minimal fluctuation due to consistent reservation trends.
  • SC/ST Categories Projection: SC around 95,000-105,000 (slight easing from 100,279) and ST 105,000-115,000 (from 112,881), reflecting potential score inflation but high demand in Bihar.
