UBS Chandigarh Placements 2023 - Average & Highest Package, Percentage

• The current academic year placement rate at the University Business School was 96.29% as opposed to the previous year which was 90.16%. 
• The UBS Chandigarh average package saw an increase of 25% whereas the median package decreased by 12%. 
• The institution has a dedicated placement cell which oversees all placement-related activities. The cell performs activities like training sessions, workshops, personality development sessions, group discussions, personal interviews, and, mock interviews, to train the students.
• The placement cell aims to make the students industry-ready. It acts as a medium between the prospective recruiters and the students during the University Business School placements. 
• The cell also ensures that the students undergo a mandatory 8-week internship at the end of their first year of the course. This ensures that students get practical exposure in their respective fields. 135 students out of a total of 146 students who participated in the current placement drive of the institution were placed successfully. 
• As per the UBS Chandigarh placement report, the total number of students placed in 2022 were 22% more than the total number of students who got placed in 2021 session. 
• The average placement increased by 25% but the median package decreased by 12%. 
• The highest package offered was Rs 53.06 lakh per annum and the University Business School average package was Rs 10.13 lakh per annum. 
• Some of the top recruiters who participated in the placement session were RBI Bank, Tolaram, Wipro, Xerox, and, Citi Bank to name a few.
