The XAT 2022 exam was held on January 2, 2022. The admit card of XAT 2022 was released on December 24, 2021. Candidates who are appearing for the exam should focus on solving the previous years’ questions papers and the mock test papers of XAT 2022.
There has been no change in the XAT 2022 exam pattern from last year. XAT 2022 will be a computer-based online exam with a total of 100 questions. There will be 4 sections in the exam. The total duration of the examination will be 180 minutes and there will not be any sectional limit.

Highlights of XAT 2022 Exam Pattern
The question paper of XAT 2022 will be divided into two parts. The first part will be further divided into three sections namely Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning, Decision Making and Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation. The second part will cover GK questions. It should be noted that the scores of Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning, Decision Making and Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation will be considered for calculating the percentile. Expected Question Paper of XAT 2022
This year, candidates can expect a higher number of questions from Arithmetic and Geometry in the Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation Analysis section. The Decision-Making section will cover 4-5 sets of high difficulty. We have provided the expected number of questions from the major topics of XAT 2022 in the table below. Expected Difficulty of XAT 2022
The difficulty level of the XAT 2022 is expected to be moderately difficult. Candidates can expect the difficulty level of the Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation section higher than the other two sections. GK section will cover questions from National Events, Sports, Geography and Current Affairs. Candidates are advised to answer the questions carefully since there will be a negative marking of 0.25. Besides this, if the total number of unattempted questions are higher than 8 then there will be a deduction of 0.10 marks for every unattempted question.
