What to Carry at XAT 2026 Exam Centres

Students do not need to carry any items apart from the essentials to the XAT 2026 exam centre. Ensure all items mentioned below are available to students before the exam day.

XAT 2026 Admit Card

The most important document of that day is the admit card. Ensure students have the printed version of their admit card for XAT 2026, clearly representing details. Download it from the website, followed by printing it on A4-size paper.

Valid Photo ID Proof

Bring a valid and original photo ID proof along with a photocopy. Valid photo IDs are:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Voter identification.
  • Driving Licence
  • College/ Employer ID along with necessary documentation

Candidate Photograph

A recent passport-sized photograph that is the same as the one on the XAT admit card is required at the exam centre. This is necessary for identification purposes.

Authorisation Form (If applicable)

Candidates with special needs, like a scribe, carry the permission form issued by XAT officials.

Medical Certificate and Scribe Affidavit (If applicable)

Candidates who require medical accommodations, such as pacemakers or other devices and students must have a relevant medical certificate. Further, for those who are using a scribe, a scribe affidavit must be provided.

What Not to Carry at XAT 2026 Exam Centre

Apart from being aware of items to carry to XAT 2026 exam centres, students must also be wary of items that are prohibited at XAT exam centres. Certain items are strictly prohibited inside the XAT exam centres to ensure a fair and secure testing environment, and below mentioned are the following items.

Electronic Gadgets

  • Mobile phones

  • Any material that can aid in cheating

XAT 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

The XAT 2026 exam day guidelines will be released online on the official website by the exam authorities. Till then, students can follow the XAT 2026 exam day guidelines stated below.

Be Early

Report to the examination centre at least an hour before the reporting time so that students do not experience hassle at the last moment and have enough time to undergo all the formalities, from document verification to biometric registration.

Plan the Journey

If the examination centre is in another city, book the travel in advance and available accommodation beforehand. Check with the travelling route and estimated time to reach the venue.

Confirmation of Examination Centre Details

Make sure where the centre is exactly known. It would be best if possible to visit the centre a day before the examination date.

Uphold the Dress Code

Wear loose-fitting clothes and avoid wearing materials with metal since students may be required to carry out security checks.

Biometric Registration

Get ready for biometric scanning, including fingerprinting and photograph verification. Please keep students' hands clean before the process and avoid applying mehendi or henna.

Be Cooperative

Cooperate with the exam officials and strictly follow what they say. If students have questions or problems, address the invigilators amicably.
