Sai University located in the metropolitan city of Chennai is a private university that was started vide the Sai University Act, 2018 by the Tamil Nadu State Legislature. The university provides various postgraduate and undergraduate courses in the discipline of Science, Humanities, Law and Engineering. The most sought after courses of the Sai University are a 4-year B.Tech course in Computing & Data Science,1 year LM course across 4 specializations and a 5-year Integrated BA LLB course. For seeking admission in the BA, BSc or B.Tech courses, admissions are given on the basis of the performance of students in JEE Main / SAT / ACT / Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam. For getting admission in the BA+LLB course, the applicant is required to appear and get a valid score in CLAT UG/ LSAT whereas, for admission in LLM, an applicant needs scores of University Entrance Exam / CLAT PG / LSAT India. After appearing in the entrance exams pertaining to the specific course, he/she needs to pass the cut-off marks set by the board for getting admission. After the necessary requirements are met, the board/university arranges for the counseling, where the applicant is allotted a course based on merit. Then the applicant has to fulfill the necessary formalities of paying the fee specified by the board. After doing so, he can join the course at once.
