GATE 2026 registration is now open at gate2026.iitg.ac.in for admission to M.Tech and research programs. Candidates can submit their applications without a late fee until September 28, 2025, while the deadline with a late fee is October 9, 2025. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two sessions.

  • A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Govt. of Kerala or any examination equivalent thereto with at least fifty percent marks in Mathematics separately and aggregate of fifty percent marks in Physics and Chemistry/equivalent subjects put together or equivalent grade for 50% of Merit seats , and aggregate of 40% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/equivalent subjects put together or equivalent grade for 50% Management seats.

SIST M.Tech Admission

  • The selection of the candidate will be based on the valid GATE score.
  • If sufficient GATE qualified candidates are not available, the selection will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the Test/Interview conducted by the college as per the direction of the University.
  • Merit list for the different categories will be published in the College notice boards.
  • Selected candidates should take admission at the appointed time after paying the tuition fees and other fees including those to be paid to the University. Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate issued from the Institution last attended must be produced at the time of admission.
  • Selected candidates are required to deposit their original certificates at the College at the time of admission
