The students who fulfill all the eligibility requirements will have to apply for admission. The shortlisted candidates will be called to the counselling process where they will be allotted seats on the basis of their scores in the exam.

In order to get eligible for admission to the  B.Tech program, the student must fulfill the given eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent from a recognized institute.
• The candidates must have passed the qualifying exam from the Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as the major subjects and one of the optional subjects as chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject / Computer Science /Information Technology / Informatics Practices /Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies.
• The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 45% in the qualifying exam  (40 % marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) with all the subjects put together.
• The candidates must have a valid score in OJEE or JEE Main exam.
• The candidates who are awaiting final results can also apply for admission on a provisional basis.
• Any candidate who passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45 % marks (40 % marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) can also apply for admission subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
