SRM University, Delhi-NCR, Sonepat, recently hosted the Third International Conference on 'Antimicrobial Resistance, Novel Drug Discovery, and Vaccine Development'. The conference, held from March 18 to 20, 2024, at the Habitat Centre, Delhi, was attended by around 400 delegates from India and abroad, including renowned international scientists. The conference was inaugurated by the Governor of Haryana, Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, and Nobel Laureate Ada Yonath was the Guest of Honor. The event emphasised the global significance of addressing antimicrobial resistance (AMR), a serious threat to global health.
