Swami Vivekananda University BPT : Fees, Courses, Eligibility & Admission 2024

Overall: I had taken admission for bachelor of physiotherapy (bpt) in the year '23 but due to some personal issues I had to leave the institute. But the experience of mine till I was there was horrible. I had completed my schooling from Pune from Dyp, a renowned and a fantastic university. But since Kolkata is my hometown I decided to continue my studies there at SVU. Well, Svu is incomplete and indisciplined. They force their students to rate the university 5 stars but I wonder if anyone would have honestly even given a 3⭐. The students are even asked to send screenshot of their ratings to the department too. Hence this is how they create a false image of themselves. The staff their lack experience hence targetting students and not knowing how to talk properly. The documentation process takes so much of time. They make you run too on fro as if they are playing fetch with you

Placement: As bpt is a 5 year course, no once has graduated yet. So there's no placement history. 2024 is the first year for the students graduating from bachelor of physiotherapy, SVU.

Infrastructure: If you were having some work after your lectures and you want to use the washroom you can't and there's no washroom for a long way or worse until you reach your hostel or visit at a friend's place. Also there is no option you could get a sanitary pad easily make sure to carry some in your bags always.

Faculty: Well, it is said that anatomy is the hardest. To my utter surprise that's the subject that's being the easiest to us, and that's all thanks to Saikat sir. Also the other lecturers taught as if teaching to themselves. There was a professor who made me feel as if asking doubt was a crime. If I asked a doubt she would just humiliate me in front of the whole class also the doubt was never ever cleared all I got was just unnecessary information about how I got there.

Hostel: The hostel by the college are too costly and as a female you are not allowed to use the terrace even for drying your clothes or for some fresh air as the warden thinks you will attract makes around you. Even if it's deadly hot you aren't allowed to open the doors or windows.
