Government Thoothukudi Medical College Admission 2026 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

1. Candidate should be a citizen of India
2. Nativity: Candidate should be a native of Tamilnadu
3. Age: Should have completed the age of 17
    years on or before 31st December (Evidence
    to be produced)
4. Marks
   i. Other Communities :
      Weighted aggregate of the percentage of
       marks should not be less than 140 out of
      200 marks
   ii. BC & BCM :
       Weighted aggregate of the percentage of
       marks should not be less than 130 out of
      200 marks
  iii. MBC :
       Weighted aggregate of the percentage of
       marks should not be less than 120 out of
      200 marks
  iv. SC, SCA, ST :
      Weighted aggregate of the percentage of
       marks should not be less than 80 out of
       200 marks
 
The candidates under Physically challenged Category- (Locomotory disability of lower limbs alone). OC/BC/BCM/MBC/DC should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in each prescribed subject in the qualifying examination.

   For Paramedical Certificate/DiplomaCourses
   Minimum 17 years and should not have   
   completed 30 years as on
   31st December  for
   SC/ST candidates the upper age limit is    
   35 years as on 31st December
 
  For Nursing Assistant Course, Minimum  
17  years and should not have completed 32 years as on 31st December  for SC/ST candidates
  The upper age limit is 35 years as on 31st December 
 
3. Educational Qualification :
    For all paramedical Courses except 
    Nursing Assistant Course
 Candidate who have passed Higher
 Secondary Certificate (Academic) Examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary State Board or Equivalent Board with any subjects shall be eligible for consideration for admission.
 
Nursing Assistant Course
Candidates who have passed S.S.L.C. in the State of Tamil Nadu or equivalent
