Out of the total 24 available seats, there is no specific quota dedicated solely to Karnataka; rather, students from Karnataka compete under the Other Than Maharashtra State (OMS) category, which generally accounts for approximately 15% of the intake (roughly 3 to 4 seats).

Admission for OMS candidates is strictly merit-based and usually carries a higher tuition fee, which is approximately INR 1,82,500 per year.
