Overall: I chose this course through its interest in computers and apps. The best thing about this course is if you study properly and do some coding, you will definitely go through a good placement at all. I said the subject we will wish to do is related to the computers and its hardware and software. But they teach the electrical subject also, which has no meaning to teach. They have two fests in the year, Techno VIT and Vibrance. The campus crowd is high as compared to other colleges. The surrounding of the campus is overall moderate. They will give scholarship to the student who have less than 1000 rank in VITEEE examination.

Placement: Nearly 90% students get placed from VIT every year. The highest package of VIT Vellore is 50lpa and average package is 9lpa also the lowest package is 3.4lpa. Top recruiters company is TCS, Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, etc. Nearly 15-20% student of each branch crack the internship opportunities like Citi Bank, PayPal, IBM etc. The roles offered is SDE, Data Engineer, SPA etc

Infrastructure: Our classrooms are equipped with excellent infrastructure and offer round-the-clock Wi-Fi access. The laboratories are meticulously designed and furnished with state-of-the-art equipment. The library at Vit is renowned for its advanced facilities and houses the largest book in the world. Wi-Fi connectivity is also available in the library. The hostels provide 24/7 Wi-Fi access to all rooms and offer a variety of accommodation options, including single, double, triple bedded, 4 sharing, 6 sharing, and 8 sharing rooms. The hostels boast a wide range of amenities, including pharmacies, outdoor and indoor stadiums, auditoriums, reading rooms, a hospital, washing rooms, and many more. The mess and canteens serve average food, but the quality is excellent.

Faculty: All teachers are qualified, but many lack teaching skills. Some professors fail to provide any study material, such as PowerPoint presentations. The course curriculum is relevant but lacks alignment with industry standards. Exams are relatively easy to pass based on performance, as grading may make it easier or harder to pass depending on the paper's difficulty. For instance, a tough paper might make passing easier, while an easy paper might require a higher passing criteria. A minimum of 40% in finals is needed to pass the course.

Hostel: The hostel life of VIT Vellore is a blend of modern facilities and comfortable living. The residential staff of the hostel campus is always available for the support of the students. Living on campus provides an opportunity to students to connect with a diverse population of people, engage in campus activities and establish relationships with faculty and staff members. Hostel review committee meetings are conducted once in 15 days by the hostel administrators to address students’ queries and requirements, and to keep them updated on upgrade of services and events
