VIT Vellore Admission 2024

VIT Vellore admission is done either through an entrance exam or merit in the qualifying exam. The institute conducts its own entrance exam for admission to some UG and PG courses like BTech, MBA, etc. As per the Vellore Institute of Technology admission 2024 for B.Tech courses, candidates have to appear for the VITEEE and secure qualifying marks. For VIT Vellore admissions to B.Des courses, candidates have to appear and get valid scores in UCEED or VIT-DAT (VIT-Design Aptitude Test) which is conducted by the institute. Candidates seeking VIT Vellore admissions to B.Arch courses, will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in NATA. For MBA courses candidates have to appear for VITBEE  or CAT/XAT/MAT/NMAT/GMAT/CMAT/ATMA to secure a seat during Vellore Institute of Technology PG admissions. Candidates who wish to pursue M.Tech and MCA have to appear for VITMEE and secure a valid score for VIT Vellore admissions. Admission to other courses like BSc, BCom, BCA, etc. is done on the basis of merit and Vellore Institute of Technology requires no entrance exams for these courses. 

VIT Vellore also offers scholarships at the time of admission. The VIT Vellore merit based scholarship is available to students with good academic background in the form of tuition fee waivers. The scholarship is also provided to economically backward classes as financial assistance.

VIT Vellore Admission for Management Courses

Candidates seeking VIT Vellore admissions to MBA courses have to appear for VITBEE conducted by the institute or any other entrance exam like CAT, XAT, MAT, NMAT, GMAT, CMAT, and ATMA. Candidates with prior work experience will be given preference. Shortlisting for VIT Vellore admission will be based on a merit list prepared by the institute. The merit list will be based on the marks obtained during graduation and entrance exam. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview. Selected candidates have to then pay the VIT Vellore fees and get their documents verified.

  • Any foreigner with a valid passport (passport is not mandatory for Nepal and Bhutan candidates).
  • OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) / PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) Candidates.
  • A minimum of 60% mark or first class is required in any under graduate or integrated degree from a recognised University or Institution.

The MSc Admission Procedure at VIT Vellore is as follows; candidates who are eligible must complete the VIT Vellore application form. Candidates for VIT Vellore counselling are chosen by the university based on their UG scores. Participate in counselling at Vellore Institute of Technology. The varsity makes the final selection of candidates. The submission of documents and fees is the final step in the VIT Vellore admission process.
