Vellore institute of Technology, popularly known as VIT University has announced the results of VITEEE 2017 or Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam on April 23, 2017. Apart from the results, all India rank list, merit list and scorecard were also released on the official website of Vellore Institute of Technology or VIT University. It was an entrance examination conducted for the admission to B.Tech programmes offered by VIT University. VITEEE 2017 examination was successfully held from April 5 to April 16, 2017.

The process to check VITEEE 2017 results, merit list and scorecard is given below: -
| Step - I | All the aspirants who appeared for VITEEE 2017 examination from April 5 to April 16, 2017, have to visit the official website of Vellore Institute of Technology, i.e., VIT University. |

| Step - III | Click on either ‘Link 1’ or ‘Link – 2’. |
| Step - IV | Kindly enter ‘Date of Birth’ and ‘Application Number’. |
| Step - V | Finally, Click on ‘Submit’. |
| Step - VI | Check the VITEEE 2017 results and download the scorecard |

The website of VIT University crashed on April 23, 2017, after the declaration of VITEEE 2017 results. The site did not respond properly and displayed an error message. The officials of VIT University revealed that the server breakdown was due to the heavy volume of users who logged on to the website at once. Later, the website was restored and the links for checking results are now working properly.
