Biola University was founded in 1908 as the Bible Institute of Los Angeles by Lyman Stewart. Biola University is a private educational institution located in La Mirada, California, United States. The institution is accredited by WASC Senior College and University Commission. Biola University has gained over 10 accreditation and 25 affiliations in its longstanding history. The University was recognized as one of America’s top 10 “up and coming” national universities by U.S. News & World Report 2020 Edition.

La Mirada campus is 95-acres and less than 25miles away from beaches, the Hollywood Bowl, Disneyland, and other iconic Southern California locations. The university has over a hundred buildings forming its network of nine schools. The schools are offering courses in the field of Business, Psychology, Fine Arts and Communication, Humanities and Social Sciences, Education, Intercultural Studies, Theology, Science, Technology and Health and Cinema and Media Arts.
