Considered as a world-known Institute for Science and Engineering education, California Institute of Technology or Caltech is situated in Pasadena, California. Founded in the year 1891 by Amos G. Throop as a preparatory and vocational school, Caltech became the centre of attraction during the Second World War. In the early 20th century, Caltech became a US scientific research powerhouse, which laid the foundation for many of today’s high-tech facilities. It is a private research university and has been ranked 5th on the QS World University Rankings 2020. California Institute of Technology is a reputed institution in the field of engineering and technology.
