Admission Requirements for Masters in Finance in the USA

Here are the general admission requirements for an international student to apply for a masters degree in finance in the US:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate must have completed a bachelors degree from a recognized university.

  • Should have secured a GPA that is at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the undergraduate program.

  • Should have taken the GRE/GMAT, whichever is required by the university. However, many universities have waived off GRE/GMAT requirements for masters in finance.

  • Should meet the English language requirement as specified by the university

  • Some masters in finance programs in the US also require international candidates to have some prior experience in the field.
