IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) General Eligibility (All channels):

Nationality: Candidates who are appearing for the IISER 2024 Aptitude Test (IAT) must be Indian nationality students. 

Qualification: All the candidates must have cleared the 12th class with science stream from any board recognized. 

Qualifying marks: Candidates of the General / OBC & OBC-NCL category should have scored a minimum of 60% marks. Students from the SC/ ST / PWD category will require a minimum of 55% marks to fill out the application form. 

Qualifying subjects: Students must have passed the 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects. 

Jammu & Kashmir Applicants: Applicants from the J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE), from Winter Zone areas of Jammu division and the U.T. of Ladakh/ Kashmir division, who had appeared in Dec 2021 for their Class 12th or equivalent examination are also eligible for IISER Aptitude Test 2024.

Kashmiri Migrant Applicants: Applicants belonging to Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) may also apply for the aptitude test as Kashmiri Migrants. They should upload a valid domicile certificate at the time of application in place of a "Kashmiri Migrant Certificate” and qualify for all the other eligibility criteria.

Channel Wise IISER 2024 Eligibility:

For KVPY channel: Students who hold a valid KVPY fellowship starting from the 2024-25 academic session are eligible for admission through IISER Aptitude Test 2024.

For JEE Advanced: Candidates who have secured rank within 15000 in the common rank list (for Gen/ OBC categories) or (for Gen-EWS/ OBC-NCL/ ST/ SC/PwD categories) can apply through this category.
