ITM NEST is conducted predominantly in the online format but in places where the conduct of the online entrance test is not possible, the entrance test is conducted in offline mode as well. The ITM NEST question paper comprises objective-type questions in which the test-takers have to choose the best response from the available options.
The candidates are usually given 90 minutes to try and attempt all the 100 questions asked in the paper. The question paper is divided into two parts - Part A and Part B where Part A is mandatory for all the candidates and Part B varies as per the degree possessed and the stream that is chosen by each individual. The ITM NEST question paper is printed in the English language only. Each question in the ITM NEST question paper is worth 2 marks and the test-takers are penalized with 1 mark for each wrong attempt.
